Get ready for Clean Up Australia this Sunday

CLEANING up the northern Illawarra has become a little easier with the introduction of the ‘iClean Up’ App now enabling residents to get involved anytime anywhere.

The latest version of the App gives users the opportunity to join their nearest Clean Up Site, or register their own, share photos through email and social media platforms and view the results of the latest Clean Up Australia National Rubbish Report – all at their finger-tips.

Ian Kiernan AO, Chairman and founder Clean Up Australia said Clean Up Australia Day is one of Australia’s most successful community participation events spanning over 22 years.

“We are determined for Clean Up Australia to provide the tools for all age groups and tech savvy volunteers to be responsible citizens and preserve our environment for the future,” Kiernan said.

Registration sites for Sunday in the northern Illawarra open from 9am and are located:
