Footpath work at Coalcliff

MAINTENANCE work starts next week on the pedestrian walkway north of Sea Cliff Bridge at Coalcliff.

Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) is advising protective painting and concrete maintenance will be carried out under the walkway from 8am to 4pm on weekdays until the end of June, weather permitting.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the work.

From Tuesday March 27 until April 3, Lawrence Hargrave Drive will be reduced to one lane while scaffolding is set up to carry out the work.

A reduced speed limit of 40kmh will be in place.

Minor delays are expected and electronic message signs will be in place to alert motorists to the work.

Motorists are advised to plan their journey, allow extra travel time, and obey all signs.

There may be noise associated with the work but every effort will be made to minimise it.
