Bellambi man’s death not suspicious says police

POLICE say the death of a man at Bellambi overnight was the result of natural causes.

About 7.30pm on Wednesday, officers were called to a domestic dispute at a Rothery Road home and on arrival found the body of a 53-year-old man.

While police initially said they were treating the death as suspicious, officers now say a post-mortem showed the man died of natural causes.

A crime scene set up at the house has been shut down and the matter will be handed over to the Coroner.
