Appeal for missing girl

POLICE are appealing for assistance to find a young girl who went missing from her Wollongong home.
Mikaylin Tuxford, aged 13, was last seen leaving her Wollongong home during the morning of Tuesday December 18.
A report was made to police yesterday (Wednesday) who immediately launched an investigation into her disappearance.
Officers have been told of a possible sighting of Mikaylin in the Mangerton area.
Police hold serious concerns for her welfare due to a number of medical conditions.
Mikaylin is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of medium build, with shoulder length brown hair and with a short fringe.
She was last seen wearing a short-sleeved blue checked shirt, blue shorts and black canvas shoes.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mikaylin is urged to contact Wollongong Police or Crime Stoppers.
