Wollongong boarding house raid

FOUR people are in custody after police seized drugs and cash during raids in Wollongong today.

About 11am today, Wollongong police executed simultaneous search warrants on numerous units in a boarding house.

They seized 500g of cannabis, drug paraphernalia and a sum of cash. Three men and a woman were arrested at the scene and taken to Wollongong Police Station.

They are assisting investigators with their inquiries and are expected to be charged with various drug supply and property offences.

Today’s operation forms part of the-ongoing investigation by the Wollongong Drug Unit into the supply of cannabis in the local area.

Investigations are continuing and further arrests have not been ruled out.
