Man charged over Corrimal murder

police 1POLICE have charged a man with the murder of 41-year-old Linda Stevens at Corrimal last week.
Wollongong police arrested 39-year-old Colin Maxwell Farrow at Kembla Grange around 4.20pm yesterday (Wednesday).
Detectives interviewed Farrow overnight before charging him with murder, resisting arrest and assaulting police. Farrow was refused bail when he appeared in Wollongong Court today.
It will be alleged he produced a knife and threatened officers when they tried to arrest him.
Officers were forced to use OC spray to arrest him.
The murder charge relates to the discovery of Linda Steven’s body in the boot of a car in bushland off Foothills Road at Corrimal on Thursday April 11.
