Woonona pizza driver robbed

WOLLONGONG detectives are appealing for information after the robbery of a pizza delivery driver at Woonona overnight. A 19-year-old delivery driver went to Hopetoun Street, Woonona, to deliver an order of pizzas about 9pm on Sunday. When he got out of his car he was approached by three men who demanded he hand over the cash he was carrying. One of the men allegedly punched the 19-year-old to the head before he handed them an amount of money. The trio then fled on foot on a cycle track next to the northern distributor.  Wollongong Detectives are investigating the robbery and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have information about it to come forward.

  1. Hello.

Did you notice, on p.40 of today’s Sydney Morning Herald, an application under the Heritage Act to demolish the buildings on Thirroul platforms 2 and 3? I tried to follow the suggested web link but couldn’t get through.

I wonder if it’s worth your looking into.
