A TEENAGER has been charged over an armed robbery at Balgownie earlier this month and a police pursuit at Corrimal yesterday.
Three men entered a service station on Balgownie Road about 5.20am on Monday September 2.
Police alleged one of the men threatened the attendant with a knife and demanded cash, while a second man ordered the attendant to hand over packets of cigarettes.
No one was injured during the robbery.
Meanwhile police spotted a stolen white Mazda on Robert Cram Drive at Bellambi about 9.30pm on Wednesday.
Officers attempted to stop the car a short time later, before a pursuit was initiated.
The vehicle was stopped on Park Road at Corrimal, where police arrested the 17-year-old driver. He was taken to Wollongong Police Station and charged with robbery in company, two counts of stealing a motor vehicle and police pursuit (Skye’s Law).
