Family fun day at WIN Stadium this weekend

WOLLONGONG police are hosting a ‘Family Fun Day’ at WIN Stadium this Saturday to help raise money for Camp Quality, a charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for children living with cancer.

The ‘Family Fun Day’ follows a Trivia Night the Command hosted in August, which raised more than $15,000 in funds. The money raised as a result of the Family Fun Day will be combined with the $15,000 raised at the trivia night and presented to Camp Quality on Sunday 17 November, when the NSW Police Force participates in the 2013 i98FM Camp Quality Convoy. The OzTag tournament will kick off at 8.30am with the grand final. This Saturday’s ‘Family Fun Day’ will comprise:

  • An OzTag competition, featuring teams from a variety of NSW Police commands, Fire and Rescue NSW and local businesses;
  • A visit from NSW Police mascot, Constable Charlie;
  • A petting zoo;
  • Jumping castles;
