Fairy Meadow shootings

POLICE are appealing for information as they continue their investigations into the shootings of two men at Fairy Meadow overnight.
About 11:15pm on Thursday emergency services were called to a house on Lila Avenue following reports of a shooting.
They found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his back. He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to Wollongong Hospital.
A short time later, a 28-year-old man attended Wollongong Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his leg, hand and wrist. It is believed he was also at the house in Lila Avenue when he was shot.
Wollongong detectives are investigating the shooting and are now appealing for information from the public.
