Police look for fraudster

POLICE have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries after a fraudulent cheque was allegedly used to pay for a car in Fairy Meadow in May.
The incident involves a man who negotiated the sale of his dark grey Audi RS5, to man in Fairy Meadow after receiving a cheque in early May.
The man then later discovered the cheque was fraudulent and contacted Wollongong police.
As police continue their inquiries into the alleged fraudulent activity, they have released CCTV images of a man who they believe can help with their inquiries.

The man is depicted in the images is described as being of Asian appearance, aged between 25 -35 years, approximately 160-170cm tall, of medium build and with short black hair. He is shown wearing a black suit and a gold chain around his neck.
Police believe the incident may be linked to similar incidents in the Rose Bay and Bondi areas and are urging anyone with information to contact them.
