A MAN has died after a collision between his utility and a car carrier near Bulli Tops on Saturday.
About 6.20am emergency services were called to a collision between a car carrier and a utility on the Appin Road.
The male driver of the utility has died. The truck driver was assessed on site by Ambulance Paramedics before he was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Crash investigators will continue inquiries into the events leading up to the crash.
Appin Road was closed eastbound to allow inquiries to be carried out at the scene.
