A MAN will face court after a loaded firearm was allegedly found during a search of his Corrimal home on Sunday.
About 2.20pm police executed a search warrant at a home on Murray Road.
During the search officers will allege they found a shortened firearm with ammunition, a silencer, and a small amount of cannabis and methyl amphetamine.
The 40-year-old occupant was arrested and taken to Wollongong Police Station where he was charged with possess shortened firearm, supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug, possess restricted substance and possess ammunition without a licence. He was refused bail and will appear in Wollongong Local Court today (Monday).
