CORRIMAL District Library and Community Centre will hold its 21st birthday celebration tomorrow (Thursday June 28).
The free celebrations – from 10am to 12noon at the centre in Short Street, Corrimal – includes local history speaker Bill Fikkers, a children’s magic show, and performances by the Holy Spirt College Jazz Band. This will be followed by a morning tea.
Manager Library and Community Services Jenny Thompson said Corrimal District Library and Community Centre has been offering a range of great services through the library and fantastic benefits for community groups and associations since 1997.
“We’d love to see the many community members who have visited the library or community centre over the past twenty one years, drop in to join us in celebrating this important birthday,” Ms Thompson said.
“The library and community centre is still a vibrant and busy place, offering many services to all community members each week.”
To attend the celebrations you can book by contacting the Corrimal District Library and Community Centre on 4227 8180.
