M1 roadworks near Helensburgh off-ramp this weekend

road works sign 1MOTORISTS are advised resurfacing work will be carried out at various locations on the M1 and the Princes Highway from this weekend to improve safety.

Work will be carried out at Helensburgh between 7.30pm to 4am from Sunday to Tuesday, weather permitting. On the M1 Princes Motorway, just south of the Helensburgh exit, the northbound lanes will be repaired and resurfaced to improve safety.

For the safety of workers and motorists, changed traffic conditions including temporary lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 kmh will be in place.

Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Roads and Maritime Services thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
