Work will include slope stability improvements to reduce the risk of rock and vegetation falls. Work will be carried out north of Appin Road on Sunday June 30 and Monday July 1 between 7.30pm and 4.30am, weather permitting.
During work hours, up to two northbound lanes of the M1 Princes Motorway will be closed.
