
POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at Towradgi over the weekend.
A masked man went to the Towradgi Road service station about 10.50pm on Sunday and allegedly lunged at the attendant with a pair of scissors. The man then placed a bag on the counter and demanded cash before fleeing in a southerly direction along Carters Lane. No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as about 180cm tall, of Caucasian appearance and was wearing a black hooded jumper with a sky-blue t-shirt over the top and black pants at the time of the alleged offence.

Police inquiries are continuing.
