Man arrested at Bellambi for allegedly supplying dugs

bellambi arrest october 2019 AA MAN has been charged with supplying drugs and various stealing offences after police went to a Bellambi home yesterday.

Wollongong police went to the Bellambi home about 11.30am on Wednesday, arresting a 35-year-old man for two outstanding warrants related to dealing with property the proceeds of crime.

During the course of the arrest, police noticed a motorbike believed to be stolen. Police declared the premises a crime scene and executed a crime scene warrant. Officers found and seized a motorcycle bearing false number plates that was believed to be stolen, drugs, cash, mobile phones, scales and a can of capsicum spray.

The man was taken to Wollongong Police Station where he was later charged with supplying a prohibited drug, possessing a prohibited drug and two counts of dealing with property, the proceeds of crime.

The man was also served with a firearms prohibition order and weapons prohibition order. He was refused bail and appeared before Wollongong Local Court yesterday. He is due to re-appear before Wollongong Local Court on December 3.
