Stanwell Park road closure next week

Road_closed_signage

MOTORISTS are advised Lawrence Hargrave Drive will be closed next week for one night at Stanwell Park for routine maintenance work.

Due to the extreme and catastrophic fire danger ratings last month, the work planned for Monday November 11 was rescheduled for Sunday December 15, weather permitting.

The road will be closed in both directions between Lady Wakehurst Drive and Railway Crescent from 8pm to 4am. This work includes trimming vegetation, clearing drains and litter collection as well as repairs to the road surface, guardrail and signs to improve safety for road users.

Transport for NSW advise that detours will be in place during work times via M1 Princes Motorway, Bulli Pass and Lawrence Hargrave Drive.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the directions of signs and traffic control, and allow an additional 30 minutes travel time.

For the latest traffic updates visit livetraffic.com or call 132 701. More information about upcoming road closures, including detour maps are available at rms.work/srrc.
