A FAVOURITE recreational pursuit of generations during heavy rain is to ride the famous Bulli Park ‘water slide’. Our picture, kindly supplied by Grant Joy, shows local young folk (and a few not so young), riding the ‘slide’ from Park Road in front of Saint Josephs Catholic Church. The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast the heavy rain and storms to continue into next week, with large and powerful surf conditions making it hazardous for coastal activities such as rock fishing, swimming and surfing.
