Stanwell Park road works will cause disruptions to traffic next week

road works sign 3MOTORISTS are advised of changed traffic conditions on Lawrence Hargrave Drive at Stanwell Park from this weekend for maintenance and investigation work to be carried out.

One of two lanes will be closed between Otford Road and Chellow Dene Avenue to carry out the work, which includes slope monitoring and sealing cracks in the road surface to reduce the risk of slope movement.

Work will be carried out between 7pm and 2am on Sunday April 5 and between 9am and 3pm from Monday 6 to Wednesday 8 April, weather permitting.

Temporary changed conditions will include alternating traffic flow under the direction of traffic controllers with a reduced speed limit of 40 kmh in place for the safety of road users and workers.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the directions of signs and traffic control, and allow an additional five minutes travel time.
