A SECOND man has been charged following an alleged armed robbery in Balgownie earlier this year.
A man armed with a firearm entered licensed premises on Balgownie Road and allegedly threatened two employees about 11pm on Monday August 17, 2020.
The man demanded cash before leaving the scene on a motorcycle and riding north on Church Street.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
As part of ongoing investigations, Wollongong police charged a 32-year-old man earlier this month. He remains before the courts.
Following further inquiries, a 30-year-old man was arrested at Wollongong Police Station about 3pm on Sunday. The man was charged with robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon.
Police will allege in court that the man was assisted by the older man during the armed robbery.
Inquiries are continuing.
