Lady Wakehurst Drive closed for maintenance work next week

MOTORISTS are advised of the closure of Lady Wakehurst Drive next week, between McKell Avenue at Waterfall and Otford Lookout, for maintenance work.

Maintenance work will be carried out, including general maintenance, guardrail repairs, vegetation trimming and clearing gutters and drains to improve safety for motorists.

Detours will be in place via McKell Avenue, the M1 Princes Motorway and Lawrence Hargrave Drive and are expected to add about 10 minutes to journeys.

Access on foot to Otford Lookout and walking tracks and beaches in the Royal National Park will not be affected by the closure.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

The road will be closed in both directions between 8am and 3pm from Monday March 29 to Wednesday March 31, weather permitting.
