A MAN has been arrested following a siege at Bellambi earlier today.
Police approached a 39-year-old man on Robert Cram Drive at Bellambi about 11am today (June 1) allegedly in breach of his bail.
Police will allege in court the man produced a knife and threatened them before running into a nearby house and locking himself inside.
Two females were inside at the time; they were not being held against their will.
About 2.30pm the man walked out of the home voluntarily.
He was arrested and taken to Wollongong Police Station.
Investigations are continuing, and charges are expected to be laid.
