THIRROUL pool remains closed due to water quality concerns.
A Wollongong City Council spokesperson said the recent weather and sea conditions means the water being drawn from the ocean is not suitable for swimming.
“We’re regularly pumping fresh seawater in them, in the hope that we can reopen Thirroul, Port Kembla and Continental pools them very soon,” the spokesperson said.
