Tour of Puckeys this weekend

THIS Saturday a guided bushwalk of Puckeys Estate, Fairy Meadow will be held by the Wollongong Botanic Gardens Discovery Centre.

Wollongong City Council Environmental Project Officer Caren Taylor said the walk will give an insight into the mysterious Courtney Puckey and his experimental salt works.

A heritage tour of the ruins will be held, as well as discover the Aboriginal culture of the area and the significance of the vegetation communities found within the uniquely preserved area.
