The Bulli & Clifton Times and the Looking Back websites were established by journalist and social historian, Mick Roberts in 2012 and 2000 respectively to provide a platform for free northern Illawarra news, information and local history.
The blog style news, information and opinion sites are a not-for-profit initiative, relying on the support of readers to continue as a free platform.
You can subscribe free to the latest news stories from the northern Illawarra to the inbox of your email, or follow our Facebook social media page.

“With over 30 years experience as a newspaper journalist, I hope to bring readers an entertaining, informative and factual mix of news, information and history from the northern districts of the Illawarra.”
– Mick Roberts
