Wollongong City Council will replace a failing retaining wall on the western side of Lawrence Hargrave Drive at Austinmer from today.

The works – just north of Headlands Avenue – will require that one lane of Lawrence Hargrave Drive be closed to traffic during the completion of the job. Portable traffic lights will be used on the site and will operate from 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Works will be conducted by contractors for Council and are expected to take around three weeks.
