THE Total Fuel Service Station at Bellambi was robbed just after 4.35am today.
An armed man entered the petrol station and demanded money from the attendant, who handed over a small amount of money.
The thief, who was wearing a black balaclava, is described as being of solid build 170 cm tall wearing dark grey jumper and black track suit pants.
He was also carrying a knife.
If anyone saw any suspicious vehicle or person around this time they are asked to contact Wollongong Detectives who are investigating the robbery.
