WOLLONGONG City Council is undertaking works at North Beach this morning.
The work is due to problems with a water service. Both cafés, Diggies and The North Beach Bathers Pavilion café, are trading as usual.
The public amenities are still operating. However the showers are currently not operating.
Council said in a statement it hopes to have this issue resolved by the end of The day. Council said it apologises for the inconvenience.
