WOLLONGONG police are seeking assistance from a number of people they believe may hold information over a sexual assault.

Detectives want to speak to a man driving a utility, after he stopped and spoke to a woman wearing a towel in Elliott’s Road, Fairy Meadow between 2-3pm on Monday. Also, police want to speak to a dark haired woman in her 20s who stopped and spoke to a number of other women in the same street about the same time and day.

A man has been arrested and charged with a number of offences and has been bail refused. Wollongong Detectives can be contacted on 42267899.
