THE Sandon Point Bushcare’s final session for the year will be held at Sandon Point and McCauley Beach this Sunday.

At Sandon the group will be removing weeds around the southern side of the headland from 10am until midday.

At McCauley Beach from 3pm, more native grasses will be planted along the edge of the cycleway. Bushcare coordinator Marcel Van Wijk said the bird activity around site has been increasing of late.

There will be no Sandon Point Bushcare activity for December.

Meanwhile the Sandon Point Aboriginal Tent Embassy will celebrate its 12th anniversary on December 15 and 16.
