THE man struck by a train at Coledale Railway Station has died.

Police have confirmed that the 24-year-old man was flown to St George Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The Berkeley man was seen sitting with his legs dangling over the platform at about 1.30am on Sunday, November 25, moments before he was hit by a train.

The train driver had attempted to alert the man by sounding the horn. The man was dragged about 20m and suffered severe head and chest injuries.
