A Fairy Meadow man has been charged after being caught driving while disqualified twice in one hour at Heathcote.
About 6pm on Tuesday police attached to the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command stopped a Black BMW on the Princes Highway at Heathcote
Officers spoke to the driver, a 40-year-old man, before checks revealed he was a disqualified driver.
He was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice (FCAN) for driving whilst disqualified.
Just after 7.30pm, police stopped the BMW on Strickland Street at Heathcote for the purpose of a random breath test.
The driver returned a negative result; however, he was again issued a FCAN for driving whilst disqualified.
Further checks revealed the man has been caught driving four times in a two-week period, with each occasion resulting in a charge.
The Fairy Meadow man will appear in Sutherland Local Court on March 27.
