A MAN is being treated in hospital for stab wounds after a fight at Russell Vale this morning.
Police were called to the home on Keerong Avenue about 2.15am on Wednesday responding to reports of a fight. They arrived on scene a short time later but were advised a man had been taken to Bulli Hospital with stab wounds. That man, believed to be aged in his 20s, has been transferred to Wollongong Hospital; however, police have been told his injuries are not life-threatening.
A crime scene has been established at the home. Police are hoping to speak with the injured man once he is deemed well enough.
