POLICE continue to investigate the discovery of a woman’s body at Woonona, but at this stage they do not believe the death is suspicious.
About 2pm on Tuesday, police were called to a house in Cotterill Avenue after a concern for welfare.
The body of a woman, aged in her 30s, was found inside the home.
A post mortem examination will officially determine how she died but detectives have not found any suspicious circumstances at this stage.The woman’s eight-month-old baby boy remains in Wollongong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
