POLICE are investigating after two firearms were allegedly stolen following a break and enter in Fernhill earlier this week.

The man told police a firearm safe, containing two guns and ammunition had been taken, along with a laptop. The laptop was later found in a paddock at the back of the business.

Wollongong police arrived and established a crime scene and commenced an investigation. A sledgehammer and crowbar were found at the scene and both will undergo forensic examination.
