MOTORISTS are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on Bellambi Lane at Bellambi to carry out work on the level crossing between Francis Street and Brompton Road.
From Monday July 17, the westbound lane on Bellambi Lane will be closed for about two weeks to carry out concreting work and structural steel beam installation. This is in preparation for the installation of VeloSTRAIL, a product that bridges the gap between the road and train tracks, allowing smooth passage for commuters and motorists.
Work will be carried out on weekdays and weekends from 7am to 5pm and is expected to be complete by 5pm on Saturday July 29, weather permitting.
Traffic control will be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and motorists.
Transport for NSW advises motorists to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
