
POLICE are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing man.
Leon Tiere, aged 41, was last seen on Fairy Avenue, Fairy Meadow, about 10pm on Wednesday 30 August 2023.
When he could not be located, Wollongong police were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him. Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare due to this being out of character.
Leon is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, between 180 – 185cm tall, large build, black hair and brown eyes. He may driving a blue Mazda Station Wagon with NSW registration CJG1GQ.
Leon is known to frequent the Wollongong, Fairy Meadows and Minchinbury areas.
Anyone who sees Leon or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Wollongong police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
