BULLI Pass will be closed one day next week to provide safe access for workers planning repairs to damage caused by record-breaking rainfall last year.

During the closure workers will inspect the conditions at several sites on Bulli Pass where landslips occurred to finalise plans for the repair work.

The road will be closed between Lawrence Hargrave Drive and the M1 Princes Motorway from 9am to 3pm on Tuesday October 10, weather permitting.

Detours will be in place via Lawrence Hargrave Drive or via the M1 Princes Motorway and Memorial Drive.

Residents within the closure area will have access to their property under the guidance of traffic control from Lawrence Hargrave Drive only.

Transport for NSW advises motorists are advised to drive to conditions, follow the directions of traffic control and signs and allow up to 15 minutes additional travel time.

For the latest traffic updates visit livetraffic.com or call 132 701.
