MOTORISTS are advised of changed traffic conditions from this weekend on the M1 Princes Motorway for work to be carried out on the southbound freeway off ramp at Helensburgh.
To minimise impact to motorists, work will be carried out from 8pm to 4am, Sunday to Thursday nights from Sunday 28 January to Thursday 8 February, weather permitting.
The southbound off ramp to Lawrence Hargrave Drive at Helensburgh will be closed for natural disaster recovery repairs, to provide a safer road network for motorists.
The off ramp will be closed during work hours but re-opened to traffic during the day with a reduced speed limit of 60 km/h for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists travelling southbound to Helensburgh will detour via Old Princes Highway at Waterfall.
Transport for NSW advises motorists to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
