MOTORISTS are advised of the upcoming closure of Lady Wakehurst Drive between McKell Avenue and Otford Lookout for maintenance work this week.

The road will be closed in both directions for three days between 8am and 3pm, from Tuesday 13 February to Thursday 15 February, weather permitting.

Work will include general maintenance, guardrail repairs, trimming vegetation and clearing gutters and drains to improve safety.

Detours will be in place via Sir Bertram Stevens Drive, the Princes Highway, the M1 Princes Motorway and Lawrence Hargrave Drive and are expected to add up to 30 minutes additional travel time.

Access on foot to Otford Lookout and walking tracks to the beaches in the Royal National Park will not be affected by the closure.

Transport for NSW advises motorists to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
