Land slips on Bulli Pass

BULLI Pass will be closed to traffic again on Sunday morning to carry out inspections of emergency repair work undertaken on Friday night.

Bulli Pass was closed in both directions between Lawrence Hargrave Drive and M1 Princes Motorway from 7.30pm on Friday for the emergency repair work. It reopened at 4.30am this morning (Saturday March 16).

The troubled plagued Pass will once again close to traffic in the southbound direction, between 8am and 12pm, tomorrow morning (Sunday March 17) to allow inspections of the emergency repairs.

Detours will be in place during the closure via Lawrence Hargrave Drive or the M1 Princes Motorway and Memorial Drive.

Motorists should plan their journey and allow up to 20 minutes additional travel time.

Upon reopening, the southbound 4.5 tonne load limit will remain in place until further notice.

Residents within the closure area will have access to their properties at all times under the guidance of traffic controllers from Lawrence Hargrave Drive only.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of traffic controllers and signs.
