
THE annual remembrance service commemorating the 1887 Bulli Mine Disaster will be held on Saturday March 23 2024 from 1pm at St Augustine’s Anglican Church Park Road Bulli.
The service, hosted by the Black Diamond District Heritage Centre, remembers the 81 men and boys killed in an horrific methane gas explosion in the Bulli Colliery on March 23, 1887.
The public are invited to attend. The Church will be open from 12.30pm with light finger food available, courtesy of the Church community.
