MOTORISTS are advised of changed traffic conditions on Memorial Drive, Bulli from next week for maintenance work to be carried out on the Farrell Road pedestrian bridge.

Work to repaint the bridge and replace the safety screens will be carried out from Wednesday April 3 for three months, weather permitting.

Memorial Drive between Bellambi Lane and the Princes Highway at Bulli will be closed in both directions for two nights on Wednesday April 3 and Thursday April 4 between 8pm and 4am, weather permitting.

Detours for all vehicles will be in place via the Princes Highway and Bellambi Lane.

Work will continue to be carried out at night on Friday April 5 between 8pm and 4am with single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h in place.

Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday, and between 8am and 4pm on Saturdays from Saturday April 6 to Monday June 10, weather permitting.

Single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place on Memorial Drive for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to allow five minutes additional travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

The pedestrian bridge over Farrell Road will be closed 24 hours a day for the duration of the work with detours in place via Farrell Road, the Princes Highway and Molloy Street.

Pedestrians are advised to allow up to 10 minutes additional travel time.
