
MOTORISTS are advised of changed traffic conditions on Appin Road, and the M1 Princes Motorway from Cataract to Waterfall, for vegetation management work.
Tree removal will be carried out on sections of Appin Road from Illawarra Street at Appin to the M1 Princes Motorway at Cataract from Sunday 2 June for two weeks, weather permitting.
Tree removal will also be carried out on sections of the M1 Princes Motorway from Cataract to Waterfall from Sunday 2 June, for five weeks, weather permitting.
Work includes the removal of decayed and deceased trees along sections of the road corridor to improve safety and usability for motorists.
Work will be carried out at night between 8pm and 4am, Sunday to Thursday, weather permitting.
During work, single lane closures, stop/slow traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Transport for NSW advises motorists to allow up to 15 minutes additional travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control. For the latest traffic updates visit livetraffic.com or call 132 701.
