REPAIRS to the extensive landslip damage on Bulli Pass reached an important milestone in June with work completed at one of the sites closest to the top.
The work at this site involved installing soil nails to strengthen the slope and applying mesh and shotcrete to prevent future erosion.
After completing work at this site, the crew turned their attention to repairs at the hairpin bend. The last of the soil nails and mesh have been installed, and the crew has started applying 300 square metres of shotcrete.
Progress has also been made on the repairs along the 210-metre-long slope at Greens Pinch. Work to install soil nails, new drains, mesh and shotcrete is now about one third of the way complete.

A spokesperson for Transport for NSW said continued wet weather in June kept the work crews on their toes with several new minor slips occurring due to the heavily saturated ground.
An extra 1100 tonnes of soil and rock was removed, and repair plans adapted to ensure the sites are made safe and more resilient to future heavy rainfall.
The road continues to be closed to all traffic in both directions Sunday to Thursday nights, from 7.30pm and 4.30am.
