LAWRENCE Hargrave Drive will be closed at Stanwell Tops next week.

Transport for NSW is carrying out routine maintenance work, including tree trimming, vegetation maintenance, clearing gutters and drains, maintenance of guardrails and litter collection.

Lawrence Hargrave Drive will be closed between Bald Hill at Stanwell Tops and Railway Crescent at Stanwell Park for one night on Tuesday 27 August 2024, between 8pm and 4am, weather permitting.

There will be some impacts while we carry out this work. Including:

  • Workers and vehicles
  • Traffic controllers and signage
  • Road closures and reduced speed limits
  • Noise and lighting from machinery and equipment.

Residents within the closure area will be able to access their properties at all times under the guidance of traffic controllers.

Detours will be in place via the M1 Princes Motorway, Bulli Pass, Otford Road and Lawrence Hargrave Drive.

Road users should allow up to 20 minutes additional travel time.

Transport for NSW advises motorists to keep to the speed limits and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs.
