THE project under way to repair landslip damage on Bulli Pass is now in its final stages with work expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Work was completed earlier this month to strengthen and secure the damaged slope at the last of the significant landslip sites on the road.
The task of repairing the slope involved installing about 400 soil nails – each up to eight metres long – and spraying 1900 square metres of shotcrete.
Work crews finished applying the spray-on concrete to the last section of the slope in early September.
Once this work was completed, Transport for NSW began arranging the resources needed to repair the damaged road.
Crews are now on site to repair the kerb, gutter and pavement.
Transport for NSW are currently on target to finish all work at this site before the end of the year.
