BULLI Pass will be closed for two days and two nights next week for essential maintenance work.
Work will include maintenance of guardrails, signs and safety ramps, trimming vegetation, clearing gutters and drains, removing the concrete barriers from the northbound lanes on Bulli Pass, resurfacing the road, and applying new line marking.
Bulli Pass will be closed in both directions between Lawrence Hargrave Drive and the M1 Princes Motorway between 9am and 3pm on Tuesday December 3 and Wednesday December 4 2024, and between 7.30pm and 4.30am on Monday December 9 and Tuesday December 10 2024, weather permitting.
Detours will be in place via either Lawrence Hargrave Drive or the M1 Princes Motorway and Memorial Drive.
Residents can access their property during the closure under the guidance of traffic controllers, by entering Bulli Pass from Lawrence Hargrave Drive near the intersection with Hewitts Avenue.
The expected conclusion of work on Tuesday December 10 marks the end of a nine-month natural disaster recovery program on Bulli Pass. This will have completed $8 million in repairs by Transport for NSW at four significant landslip sites on the escarpment road.
The work has been funded by the Australian and NSW Government’s Disaster Recover Funding Arrangements.
